.::SUMMERTIME!::.

It's summertime! I figured I was past due for an update, not sure if anyone ever checks this blog, but just in case here ya go!

I went to the beach with these 3 other crazy girls pictured here a couple weekends ago. I had the best time in recent memory, as a matter of fact, I can't remember the last time I was so happy and had so much fun! I needed the distraction from real life for a little while.

Our summer has been really busy, the boys have been gone somewhere every week since school has been out. When I was at the beach they were with Lee's mom in Fairhope and had the best time and are dying to go back for at least another week in July so they can see Lee's brother while he's there. Maybe a good time for another girl's beach trip before school starts back?!

My class is going well this summer, it's not a ton of work just some reading and studying to stay on top of it. I'm taking the second psychology class that I have to have, it's human growth and development so it's pretty straightforward. Mom has been here or the boys there during the week while I'm at school which gives me some free time for the first time in FOR E VER!!!! I keep telling my friends, the last month I've had more time for myself to come and go as I please more so than I've had in over a decade and I know in August it'll get really busy and stressful again so I'm savoring it right now. I have a social life right now, how weird is that?? Can't tell ya how long it's been.

The boys are getting older and it's easier to let them go and visit and have their time with grandparents and such w/o them calling me every hour. School starts back for them in just over 7 weeks. *sob* We're all having such a blast this summer I hate to even think about getting back into that grind, but the sooner I get back this fall, the sooner I'll be knocking out those nursing courses and in 5 semesters this girl will be gettin' paid!

By the way, I've lost 20 lbs since April. I'm not done yet and would love to go to this new Anytime Fitness place here in town b/c it's right on the highway and I could go before or after classes but I have no idea what it costs so I'll probably stick to walking in the 'hood and burning up for a while longer!
