*Happy New Year!*

Hi gang!

I really can't blog long b/c my power cord to my laptop is FRIED. Actually it's been wiggled around so much the wires have split apart completely going into the laptop itself. I can still get online downstairs but that's a lot of trouble...haha...I've ordered a new power cord and will try and get some new pics on here when I'm fully functional again.

I just wanted to let you all know that so far 2008 is going great for the boys and me! I'm back in school, taking another anatomy class, algebra, and psychology and praying I will be accepted into the RN program this fall so I can get started on my nursing courses and get this thing knocked out already! I wanna go to work! I'm managing school and everything else pretty well, I'm used to it, but it's still hectic and some days I really need a clone of myself to help myself out w/ getting kids to certain places and cleaning the house and studying...ok so maybe I need more than one clone. I'm cleaning today and have to take kids out later to get Ty some b'ball shoes and then on to practice and we have pics/game tomorrow.

The boys are doing well. Tyler just got accepted to his school's new news team where they'll be doing morning broadcasts that go school-wide on their new closed-circuit TVs in every classroom. He applied to be a reporter, had to write an expository letter as to why he'd be a good fit and the whole nine yards (with help from mom of course) and he got it. Great-- so I'll have to have him at the school at 7am when it's his team's turn to do the news. He wanted to do it so badly though; what can I say?! Evan's doing great in Kindergarten!!! His behavior is good and he is reading like nobody's business. He's also great in math. I'm praying he'll stick w/ that and be a better student than Ty's been. (Ty's lazy and we have trouble w/ getting things turned in and such, he's in the gifted program yet his grades don't reflect it b/c he's so lazy.) Evan aims to please though. Tyler has his first basketball game tomorrow (Saturday) as I mentioned above, he's doing pretty well with that, I hope he'll enjoy it. All in all they're doing well and I have to praise God b/c in a few days it will mark the anniversary of Evan nearly dying w/ his severe asthma attack (1/15)and my baby boy is doing super now and has hardly been bothered w/ his asthma any at all this past year. I'm so thankful we have it under control now and that he is here w/ me. That whole experience opened my eyes to a lot of things; my little family is more important than ANYTHING on earth.

I only have a few minutes left on this battery so I'm going to shut it down but you all know how to find me if you need me! Take care and have a wonderful 2008. I know I will!
